Francis House Center, in its 44th year and located in downtown Sacramento, serves families and individuals suffering from homelessness and poverty. It is our mission to provide relief, resources and hope so families and individuals can transform their lives from a struggle for survival to a plan for their success.
Francis House is in the business of changing lives. Money raised at Feast for the Streets pays for job development, shelter, and resource counseling for those needing work, housing, and hope. Lack of a birth certificate or a California-issued ID card can be the barrier to housing, employment, or the first step towards changing one’s circumstances – Francis House Center provides these resources and many more to our homeless and struggling clients.
Our goal this year is to raise $150,000 via Feast for the Streets. It will help hundreds be that much closer to finding a job; it will help hundreds be able to shelter their children for a few nights; it will help families find permanent housing, health care services and transportation assistance; and it will help thousands of individuals truly change their lives.
We appreciate you considering this invitation to sponsor Feast 2014. It’s a great investment in our regional safety net and a wonderful community gathering shared with your colleagues and other leaders in our region. We’d love to have you join us.
Thank you so much!
